How long are messages kept in quarantine?
Messages are retained within the quarantine for 10 days, after which they are automatically removed.
I deleted a message in my quarantine by accident. Can I retrieve it?
Yes, you can. Simply open the search form on the inbound quarantine page by clicking the Search these messages link at the top of the page. In the search form, mark the checkbox for "Deleted messages" and click the Find Messages button. (You do not need to fill in any other search terms.) When the results appear, messages that you previously deleted will be included, and you may then release those messages.
I released a message in my quarantine but did not receive it?
First, you can access the message again via the quarantine. Simply open the search form on the inbound quarantine page by clicking the Search these messages link at the top of the page. In the search form, mark the checkbox for "Released messages" and click the Find Messages button. (You do not need to fill in any other search terms.) When the results appear, messages that you previously released will be included.
Typically, if a message has been released but was not delivered to your workstation, the most likely culprit is that some secondary spam or virus filtering on the receiving mail server or mail client detected the message as a spam or virus and is blocking it. You can review the Messages > Delivery Log for a report on what happened to the message.
