Changing DNS Servers

IMPORTANT! These Instructions only apply if you are transferring your domain to Sapphire Commerce

Step 1 : Creating Email Accounts and Aliases

If you will continue to use your own email service or Hosted Exchange, the email setup will be different. For your own email service, you will need to provide us  your MX records. These will be available from your email hosting provider. If we setup your Hosted Exchange, then we will automatically set this all up for you.

1. Log in to the email control panel, using the administrative ID and password you created during the signup process.
2. Create email accounts and aliases identical to those you have been using with your previous email hosting provider. For help using the control panel and creating email accounts and aliases, please see the Control Panel User Guide.

Step 2: Changing the Name Servers

After creating your email accounts and aliases, you are ready to change your domain’s name servers. Since it typically takes up to 48 hours for computers around the world to recognize that an update has been made to the name servers, you may want to make this switch during non-business hours or when email activity is light.

Secondary:     NS2.SAPPHIRE-COMMERCE.COM
Secondary:     NS3.SAPPHIRE-COMMERCE.COM
Secondary:     NS4.SAPPHIRE-COMMERCE.COM
Secondary:     NS5.SAPPHIRE-COMMERCE.COM
Secondary:     NS6.SAPPHIRE-COMMERCE.COM

Note: Please do not cancel your current DNS hosting service until the transfer is complete.
